Dr. Kimberly Lewis

Dr. Lewis was born and raised in Houston, TX. She is a graduate of Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine. Upon graduation, she moved with her husband, Dr. Randy Lewis (West Texas Equine Clinic) to Lubbock, TX. There she practiced small animal medicine and emergency medicine. In 1998, she moved to Abilene. While living in Abilene, she practiced small animal medicine and emergency medicine in Abilene, Brownwood, Carrolton, and other towns outside of Abilene. Dr. Randy and Kim Lewis purchased Key City Veterinary Clinic in 2009. 

Dr. Lewis enjoys working with animals and educating their owners to ensure happy and healthy pets. She has a special interest in complimentary/alternative medicine, including small animal acupuncture. 

Outside of work, Dr. Lewis enjoys spending time with her family. She also enjoys scrapbooking and competing with her kids at AKC dog shows with their three French Bulldogs. Two of the French Bulldogs accompany her to work most days and sometimes an occasional goat or chicken! Her family also includes her son’s crazy rescued Beagle Mix, Benjamin, a small group of cats, a coop of chickens, a few cows and donkeys, some goats, and who knows how many horses.
