Dr. Bailey Norwood
Born and raised in the small West Texas town of Noodle, just outside of Abilene, Dr. Bailey Norwood discovered her calling to become a veterinarian at just eight years old. Her lifelong passion for animals and dedication to giving them a voice have guided every step of her journey in veterinary medicine.
Dr. Norwood earned her Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from Tarleton State University, where she also gained hands-on experience working as a veterinary technician. She went on to earn her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in 2022.
Her professional interests include small animal internal medicine, preventive care, and soft tissue surgery, and she also enjoys working with exotic species. Dr. Norwood takes pride in building strong relationships with her clients and providing compassionate, personalized care for every patient she meets. She believes every pet deserves to be treated like family, and she strives to care for each patient as if they were her own.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Norwood enjoys spending time with her husband and their two young sons. Their family also includes two beloved dogs—a golden retriever and a corgi mix. When she’s not caring for patients, she can often be found riding horses, relaxing with her family, and dreaming of one day starting her own cattle ranch.
